There are a number of reasons why you might have gotten an error during signup. The most common ones are as follows:
Store has too few products for us to build and publish content
In order to effectively build links to the products in your store we need to ensure that a store has products in it. Single product stores do not work well with our template system and so at this time we require that stores have a minimum of 10 Active products priced at over $0.01 each in order to be added to our system.
Your email address is already in our system
Either you have already signed up and need to login or click the lost password link to reset your account.
This store is already in our system in another account.
Either you have already signed up and need to login or click the lost password link to reset your account. If you are sure that you have not signed up before please contact support in order to validate your ownership of the store in question.
Your store name might be blank on your homepage.
If your Shopify store is setup correctly this shouldn’t happen. If for some reason the name of your store comes up as blank or is set to be blank we cannot build content using the name. Double check your homepage to ensure that you have a title tag set.
Error getting products.json from your store
We tried to load the products.json url for your store in order to process your collections, products and items but for some reason we were unable to load the data. There have been reports that certain plugins may cause this type of condition in some circumstances, please reach out to support with a list of the plugins you are using in order to help us troubleshoot this for you.
General Error
So this happens when you break things – kidding, please reach out to support with the name of the store and url so that we can investigate further as to what might be causing this mysterious and unhelpful error.
